I consciously want to achieve the effect that these objects, which result from a prolonged crafting process using only the most archaic tools, do not unambiguously seem as if they were man-made. I prefer the objects to give the observer/user the impression of naturalistic formations or found objects, that "are simply there", untied to space or time and yet referring to the present by their archaic shape/form/character. The creation of these objects is dictated by a dogma of content, which - while being playful and tongue-in-cheek, is also serious and unalterable - prohibits the use of all usual and contemporary tools and techniques in their production. The dogma also excludes the use of gauges (tape measure, caliper) and test equipment (steel ruler, steel square). The objects are formed by sheer physical strength and the quartet of jigsaw, cordless screwdriver, welding machine, and angle grinder. Each of the objects is absolutely unique, their dimensions are unknown, even to me as their creator. Each work features an engraving that details the project name, the month/year of creation and a serial number.
